1st Answer:-
Some people say that technology has made life better with the internet, cell phones and other devices. While others say technology has been making life worse because people are becoming lazy and replace their lives with technology every day. Technology surrounds everyone in modern society and it affects our lives in many ways.
People argue that technology can be dangerous because Technology contains information that many would rather it not have. It influences minds in bad ways, and it allows people to share information, which they would otherwise not be able to attain it. Even if a person does not own a computer or have credit cards, there is information on a computer somewhere about everyone. it is affecting the minds of young people in ways that could be harmful. but technology helps us in many ways because it makes life easier but I think we should stop using technology for every task we do. Everywhere I go, I see technology used for the simplest things that anyone can do themselves.online shopping instead of walking to the store, reading books and doing homework online instead of paper and pencil, and soon cars that drive themselves. Making technology to do simple jobs that we are too lazy to do causes people to become overweight. Studies from has shown that “Children have gained weight in the presence of technology because they are sitting down where for children who didn't have the technology found their entertainment elsewhere including sports and games.
Fact is - everything is having advantage and disadvantage.
2nd Answer:-
I personally would not be able to live without technology, my whole life depends on it. Pathetic right? Well, let me explain my situation for a minute.
I’m currently living in a village somewhere in the middle of nowhere. The estimated population is about 60–80 people including myself.
I’m 20 years old while the majority of the village is at about 50–80. I obviously can’t hang around with them.
The closest city is at about 10–13 kilometers away from me. Public transportation comes once per day at 7:20 pm. Six out of seven days I can’t use it because I’m working from home.
I don’t have a car to move freely when I’m done with work and I can’t get one as I’m rather poor at the moment.
To sum things up: I’m living in the middle of nowhere all alone, no shops or anything to entertain me around, and for the biggest part I’m unable to get out of here.
But, here I am. Talking with you guys here thanks to technology. I’ve got some company, I’ve got some entertainment, something to keep me sane.
What would I do without technology? First of all, I would most likely be unemployed. The economy of my country (Greece) is terrible.
We can’t even afford to hire waiters. Even no skill jobs are rather hard/impossible to land unless you’ve got some connections.
But, my PC and the internet allows me to work as a technical writer remotely for people that are living across the other side of the Earth. How amazing is that?
Secondly, I would have zero to no entertainment. I spent a couple of hours playing video games every day and 4–5 in writing music with my electrical guitar.
What would I do without them here? Most likely stare at the ceiling.
Last but not least, I would be completely alone for what would look like the rest of my life.
I’ve made friends with people that are living in other cities (duh). Thanks to technology, I can communicate with them over the distance and make plans for the very few hours in the whole week that I’m able to leave this village.
I could go on all day, but there is no reason to. You should understand by now why technology plays such a major part in my life.
So, what do you think? Am I still pathetic for relying so much on technology? Let me know down in the comments below, I’d like to read your thoughts.
